That game was amazing. I'm telling you man, Hawaii could make the tourney. Their Defense is something else and the Big West is improved. If they can get out of conference as say a 5-loss team I could see them as one of the last 4 in.

My favorite was the part where they stopped and reviewed and kept adding time back, they shoulda done that at least one or two more times to totally kill the excitement of the buzzer beater

To quote the late Yogi Berra, "It ain't over 'til it's over." SMU's two-time failure to hit the front end of a one-and-one in the last 10 seconds of the game gave Hawaii the opportunity they needed to snatch victory from the Mustangs' hands at the end. The 'Bows never led until McClanahan hit that 3-pointer. Ironically, only one month later (Jan. 26, 2023), Hawaii would lose to UC Santa Barbara on a last-second shot by the Gauchos' Ajay Mitchell, 65-64. You win some, you lose some.
